The XLII Annual OSCC at Brock University (May 6th to May 9th)
Hosted by Waterloo Collegiate

In anticipation of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Waterloo Collegiate Institute has decided to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship, friendship and celebration of diversity and has chosen as our theme the Olympic motto:
"citius, altius, fortius"
When the ancient Olympics took place, it was a celebration to honour Zeus. Warring city states lay down their arms and set aside their differences for a greater purpose. The Olympic torch, which passes through participating cities and countries, brings with it a message of peace and friendship. When the modern Olympics resumed, this motto was adopted as a life philosophy or code of conduct for athletes to give their best at the games and that this achievement, rather than their results at the games, is the true victory.
The Ontario Student Classics Conference is a place for students and teachers alike to share their enthusiasm for the culture of Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece. In early May, participants apply their enthusiasm and skill in more than one hundred competitions in academic, creative, and athletic events.
